Below you will find new sewing groups, a few new quilt guilds and our favorite links to free patterns and block ideas. If you can’t find something your interested in, please call us and we will surely help you get the information you are looking for.
Visitors are welcome to see what the guild is all about and join if you like what they are about! This guild meets at Little Red Quilt House the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am. This guild meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. The focus of this guild is to promote machine quilting and teach techniques to improve your skills. Visitors are welcome and membership is open if you care to join the guild. Every Monday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Free Join us every Monday to sew whatever you wish. The shop staff is available to help you if needed. We break at lunchtime for salad luncheon. The shop provides the lettuce and tomato; we ask that you bring a topping to share. 3rd Tuesday of month, 1:00pm If you are a Kansas Troubles fan, this is the club for you. Join in the fun to make a queen size quilt using the 2012 BOM pattern – Bird’s Eye View. The quilt uses a variety of techniques and materials – piecing, paper piecing, fabric and wool appliqué, and various embellishments. You would need to purchase the pattern to make this project. You may bring fabric from your stash or add new ones available at the shop. PROVERBS 31 WOMENS GROUP As women of God, we are to help others and this group will focus on various groups of people that need quilts and we will sew! All fabric will be donated and then the finished projects will be donated to battered women shelters, Habitat for Humanity, orphaned children, senior homes and service men. Sign up at the shop and we will work on Friday afternoons for those in need. Sewing machines will be available at the shop.
