by Keiichi Nishimura
Moon Over Waterfall, designed by artist Keiichi Nishimura, features his unique wave imagery in a beautiful Asian-inspired panel. The panel depicts a cascading waterfall under a full moon, seen through a canopy of delicate blossoms. Companion prints include a coordinating floral, a waterfall/wave print, a star-filled sky texture, an elegant medallion geometric, and small flowers on a background of medallions. Frame the waterfall panel with simple borders or with your favorite pieced blocks for a stunning wall hanging. The coordinates work well in traditional blocks including hexagons, stars, pinwheels, and nine-patches, as well as in Japanese lantern, kimono, and fan blocks for quilts, pillows, table runners, placemats, jackets, and totes. A pattern for a quilt and a classic tote bag, designed by Gina Gempesaw for the Moon over Waterfall collection, will be free to download when the collection ships.
Keiichi and designer Bergen Rose are a Seattle area art and design team dedicated to the creation of Asian-inspired patterns for art quilts, embroidery, and apparel. Find these patterns, which are wonderful interpretations by Bergen of paintings by Keiichi, at www.mochimochifiberart.com

Freedom Bound by Denice Lipscomb
"The year is 1859. The country is in turmoil. Tempers on both sides are heating up. In Claiborne County, Mississippi, a very unusual family is preparing for a trip to freedom. This is the story of Hannah Cummings Cotton, her plantation life, her children, and her journey to Ohio, leaving the chains of slavery behind." The completed quilt measures 97" x 97". This program will start in September 2016.
Continuing in 2016

Since 2009, we have become the centralized and most trusted source of quilting information (shops, brands, guilds, professionals, and museums) in the industry. We are becoming the common source every quilter, website, and book comes to for their information. Update it in one place and everyone has it.
We are the most trusted source and have begun to create the QuilingHub Network of websites and books that share one database (instead of many). We are one step closer giving the quilting industry one place to list their organization (shop, guild, brand, professional, etc) or event (quilt show, shop hop, sale, class etc) and their events and have it be visible everywhere. It just makes more sense to spend less money and effort getting your word out to the quilters.
As a Quilter:
Easily and accurately find shops, groups, museums, brands, service professionals, & events locally or while traveling from QuiltingHub or any other source in the QuiltingHub Network.
